BEING A SHORTY

I was reading the comments and isn't it interesting how many of us wish we were something we're not.

I am tall and full figured. This can be intimidating to many people, especially men.

Everybody wishes what they are not, people should just be contented and make the best of what God or nature bestowed upon us. I'm taller than the average Filipino especially in my generation.

I am short too .. just 163cm :( All my siblings so much taller than me. My younger sister 170cm and my younger brothers 180cm and 185cm. And they still in school! But sometimes being short is fine too. I can get they free jeans when it's not tall enough from them hahaha

i'm tall and fair, but i'd rather be shorter and darker.

I like being short but my husband is quite a bit taller than I am.

i'm the shortest in my family.everyone else is 5 ft 10 or taller. my great grandfather was almost 6 ft 7. sucks.

I keep asking my boyfriend if he likes my height because I am short. He said our height is perfect. He is taller than me. and even I wear heels, he is still taller than me.

I'm short guy too but I feel happy when I saw someone smaller than me (bad) anyway, before I didn't like my height since I'm not too tall and not too short, and I feel embarrassed when there's "Find your height" and you're first on the lane which is you're the smallest on your class, I've waited for 8 years on that school to be graduated (since I'm always in the first lane of boys)

@Sammilita I know about being short. When I am in the grocery store I cannot reach the high shelves so I have to ask someone to help or find a ladder to climb.

I'm 160cm tall and I wished I was a bit shorter.

I feel and believe that our body is just a vessel chosen by our beautiful soul to complete a life journey. It is the inner beauty that matters.

when I have to line up sequentially based on height, I'm always the front or middle. even my sister is taller than me. but i never feel sad being lik this actually, i always live cheerfull and believe i will have bf taller than me.lol

Nobody's perfect and somehow we will have our defects or imperfections in our body. But if we just accept that as part of ours that imperfection will not bother us. And will have a happier and contented life to go with it.

yeah, it's all in the genes.. but there are some supplements that can make you tall but they can have adverse effects.. It is better to just be happy with what we have there are pros and cons to both heights anyway

So, are you tall or short? I cannot figure it out from your post. The title suggests that you are short though...

Everybody wants to be something they are not given. For example, those 'morena' with darker skin wanted to be fairer, those with curly hairs wants their hair straight and the list goes on. Somehow we need to have contentment

You get your external features according to your parent's gene.

We all wish for superior genes. But I'm content for being petite. It doesn't matter much to me now. Our body is a great machine that can do all sorts of things. I adore my body because of the things it can do - see, feel, touch, work, walk, dance etc. etc.
