Happy Wednesday everyone! another week is flying by but at least we have sunshine today with no rain in the forecast.
My morning started off like every other day until I sat at the computer to pay some bills and saw my bill for the house taxes. Don't know what made me open it because it was at the bottom of my bills to pay at the end of the month.
OMG it's due today!!! Normally this wouldn't be a problem and I could just drop it off but my daughter is working and I don't have a car. I texted my older daughter to see if it would be considered delinquent if I dropped it in the drop box tonight when I had the car. Not only don't I want it to be late but I can't believe I thought it was due at the end of the month. I've been paying this for years so you'd think I'd know. Guess my brain is fried
My oldest daughter is a life saver. She said she would pick it up and drop it off for me as she is going out anyway and I don't have to stress about it.
My moments of panic are now replaced with a big huge smile. My kids really look out for me.
Have you had a panicky moment lately?

The bill be there on time thanks to my daughter so all is well. No, it's not a bill I can pay online even though I do like paying online for most of my bills.

I don't have my taxes set up to pay from my debit or online banking. I can either mail it or drop it locally at the townhall.

Not really, but I was kind of stressed about my credit card payment. Just now though I couldn't find the right cord to plug into my computer. I mean I was just using it but it seemed to have disappeared. I have too many cords around here. I am going to put the others away.

I have gotten used to have problems in the back of my mind and do things to forget them for a while. Money is one of them. Others are health and all age. They are all related

That was sweet of her, but I'm sure that she's been on the receiving end of a kind gesture of yours. The apple usually doesn't fall very far from the tree.
I haven't had any panic moments as of late. The last time I felt that way was at physio last week when they put a large suction cup on my shoulder and started pumping the air out of it and then casually told me not to move or it would really hurt-it was hurting when she said that.

@Marilynda1225 It was a jar about the size of a baby food jar. It had a hole in the side and they had a tube going to it with a hand pump-like a blood pressure cuff. I was lying on my back on the table and she put it on the top of my shoulder and started pumping it, and I could feel the pressure and wasn't pleasant. The idea was to loosen that muscle that runs along the top of your shoulder up to your neck. What it did was loosen that temporarily, but it also left a huge purple bruise. And it hurt so bad, when she returned 5 minutes later there was a stream of tears running down the side of my face towards my temple-as I was lying on my back. Never ever again. I think that this part of the injury is going to be the worst to get over. It pulls the muscles in the neck tight too, which isn't good.

Just yesterday I realized that a bill was due and had to drive over to the credit union to pay it since I did not get it mailed.

We've been trying to organize a new roof on the house and garage. We had three estimates done (waiting on a fourth). The first 2 were ridiculously high. The other was about what I was anticipating.....only he hadn't called back (we've been waiting for 2 months). Today I got a reasonable estimate and he will start as soon as we get home from vacation.
