Favorite TV Westerns

I looked up TV Westerns to decide which one I would choose next as one of my many favorites to find a long list of Westerns I had never heard of before, some I had forgotten about, and my top favorites.
This next favorite Western starred Chuck Connors in the leading Role, and Johnny Crawford as his son, Mark. Of course, I'm referring to The Rifleman. There were five seasons of The Rifleman beginning in September 1958 - April 1963 when it aired its final episode.
More than 500 actors made guest appearances on the show, many big name actors, and those who would become big name actors.
The story takes place in the fictitious town of North Fork, New Mexico.
I liked The Rifleman because it always showed the best of a person, and giving them a chance. There was always a moral to learn from the episode.
Were you able to watch this first run, or only in reruns? Thanks for reading.

The only one I can really remember watching was Bonanaza. I liked the Wild, Wild West..but it wasn't your traditional Western. I know my family watched Rawhide..but I don't remember anything about it, other than that Clint Eastwood played Rowdy Yates.

@snowy22315 Bonanza is my favorite Western, so I'll be writing about that one. There are a lot more I like as well. I agree, I never thought about Wild Wild West as being a Western. I've already posted about Rawhide.

I have never seen this one. The only one I remember the Italian TV used to broadcast was the same that @snowy22315 mentioned, Bonanza.

A great aspect of the show was a single father raising his son. Lucas only used his unique if he had to.
