What motivates you?

I've been considering furthering my education. Looking into courses offered I've noticed the same phrase used over and over "increase your profits". Is profiting peoples only motivation to further their education any more? What happened to the love of learning?

Well if one has the luxury of studying for the love of learning that is an awesome way to be. But people are also motivated by money because of financial need, depending on the circumstance.

@JeanetteSmith Yes you are right. We are lucky. I'm referring to if say you have a family, or health problems that might take up your time and not enough energy.

@yoalldudes I know exactly what you're meaning! I'm a mother of 3 and have BAVD (birth defect in my heart) most days the fatigue/pain is extreme! But determination to become healthy in spite of it has finally paid off with the help of a plant based product called Truvision. My mind is no longer foggy so ive started studying again. My energy is up enough to go back to work too. I actually have my first interview in two years, tomorrow morning! Life is beautiful when you're able to get out of bed! ??

With the abundance of free informant you don't exactly need to have a luxurious life to learning for the love of it. Just desire. Where there's a will there's a way right?

Passion for learning is what motivates me. It just seems like the majority of people are profit driven in everything they do. It's a waste of life in my opinion.

@JeanetteSmith Yeahh. They dont consider that Learning is more valuable than any profit u can get. Becoz money os just a material thing that can somehow be gone but the learning? It's a lifetime blessing!!! Am i right, my friend?

@Lumartz yes you are defintally right! Sometime I try to show people how much more valuable information is over money. Most don't listen and just choose to become anger but sometime someone does listen and changes their way of thinking. It's worth it!

I was like that in high school. I hated it so much I studied extra and graduated in 8th grade. That was 19 years ago. I still don't miss the classroom setting but my need to know new things is winning these days.

I can still learn even if I willnot enroll or study in school. There are a lot of self help books that you can find online to read. I belive that if you really want to learn you will find all the means to do it.

Defintally! I've been self-teaching for the last 6 years. Free articles and webinars, books when I can afford them. Thrift shop have books really cheap, sometimes I get lucky.
