Defintally! I've been self-teaching for the last 6 years. Free articles and webinars, books when I can afford them. Thrift shop have books really cheap, sometimes I get lucky.

I was like that in high school. I hated it so much I studied extra and graduated in 8th grade. That was 19 years ago. I still don't miss the classroom setting but my need to know new things is winning these days.

@Lumartz yes you are defintally right! Sometime I try to show people how much more valuable information is over money. Most don't listen and just choose to become anger but sometime someone does listen and changes their way of thinking. It's worth it!

Nothing gets my ire up more than seeing another story on the news of people releasing large numbers of balloons into the air for another memorial or celebration. To me, it's the same as releasing plastic bags into the sky....

Yes I do consider it to be littering. Like you said it kills the wild life and damages the ecosystem as well as livestock. I've heard local farmers say how their livestock accidental eats them while grazing and dies from ingesting the plastic balloon.
