I and my sister were busy after lunch because we took turns fixing one of the taps in the kitchen. Since I have the post - graduate degree of BSN major in MCN, I still added some abbreviations after my name: minor in plumbing, electrical, and chef minor - minor.
It was a good idea to do that, but my sister’s forehead and philtrum were already soaking wet with sweat.
We failed. Indeed there are some jobs at home that only males master doing so.
We therefore left the faucet permanently closed. There is another faucet anyway that we can use.

@ridingbet for dog grooming and bathing and training maybe --- I still have to decide on it for the future. I am still trying to convince everyone in the family and make them ready.

my sister put off the main supply outside. that is why we were able to unscrew and remove the damaged handle.

@LadyDuck of course we would not want a big fountain in the kitchen. hahah. now, my sister called our neighbor who is the brother of a local official here, to change the faucet.

@ridingbet It works the other way around, too. :) Men can wash dishes. Some are quite good cooks, too!

I agree that some jobs are suited for some persons only. It is good that you have an alternate faucet which you can use

I have never dealt with the tap in our house. I think it's my husband's job.

yes, but i was able to reduce the faucet into nearly and completely removed now. prior to that, there were some corners still left and it can hurt a finger when unconsciously we try to open the tap with our bare hands.

My mother was trying to fix a faucet in my uncle's guest bathroom. She almost fixed it. She's good at fixing things sometimes.

Better get the service of the expert faucet, even some males may not know that job.

we can do it if we have the new faucet. it is easy to replace a broken tap, with screwing here and there, it should be fine.
