What other than talkative and being silent? Chats.. Yes. Now a person can be talkative or silent or the one who chats a lot, mean talking without talks or silently. What single word fits in it? I think chattative or typotive can be good words to add in the dictionaries..
Just a wild thought

i am sometimes quiet on chats, that is why maybe the person i chat with, will see the 'seen' only if i have nothing else to say.

Why not, every year we have new word in dictionaries, chattative seems good.

In my case, I take the first step of breaking the ice if there is awkwardness in between us when meeting.. But in chats, there has been transition of me to "reply someone within 1 minute" to "take my time to reply if I have the mood"..
