Are you happy when others are happy?

I have seen many people who found pleasures in seeing others suffering. When their relatives undergo hardships they say that they deserve so. They have been punished by God for their misdeeds. I don't understand how can one feel happy in seeing others suffering. I am happy when all the people whom I can see are worry-free and happy. Those who have done bad to me, I don't want to see them suffering. Are you just like me?

Most people are like you. If someone has hurt me but is not done a crime, I am ready to forgive him for the sake of my own peace.

You must be very kind. Yes, if somebody hurt us we should or for others shouldn't forgive them. If some people were happy of my misfortune, I'll just hope that they won't experience the same way I was.
