What did you want to be as a child?

Since childhood seems to be the question we all ask ourselves, what do you want to be when you grow up? I wanted to be a police officer to fight against the bad guys and put them in prison, but as I grew up I liked computers and computers and the contradiction was that I ended up being a lawyer, although I did not get far from computers, and what did you want to be?

When I was little, I was obsessed with the girls who worked in the checkout lines at grocery stores. The way they opened the cash register, gave people their change, scanned the items, bagged them....something about all that I just loved. I was always going grocery shopping with my Grandparents, so I had plenty of time to study these girls and everything they did involving the cash registers and groceries. Finally, someone bought me a pretend grocery scan with plastic food items, a cash register, pretend money, and plastic bags. I was one happy gal. Kept me busy for hours.

I wanted to be a pro bowler. Instead I became a blogger.

Apart from a brief time when I wanted to be a fashion designer (the result of far too many hours spent playing with Barbie dolls), my two great ambitions were to be an engineer and a ballerina. I figured I could do both at the same time - engineer by day and dancer at night - after all, when you are 10 years old, who needs sleep?
