How do you handle annoying people?

It's been a long time since I last posted a discussion here. Now, I would just like to share what I am feeling right now. So, our office is kinda small. Each employee has their own designated computer placed on adjacent tables; so we can literally see each other. The restroom is just in front of all of us. The door is literally facing our direction, as well. So here's the thing. I have one co-worker, the oldest of us, she's in her early 30's. Every time she's done using the restroom, she always leaves the door open. It really annoys me because that's not how we are at home. At first I was holding back since she was in this company first, it's just my 4 month. I came to the point that I really can't take it anymore and it really bothers me so I told her to keep the door close, because that's how it should be since we are in an air-conditioned room, plus we also eat in our tables since there is no separate area for eating. I told her not only once, but more than 4 times. I got tired of repeatedly saying it so I stopped and she went back to keeping it open.
I just really want to express this coz it's really is annoying. Like, she's just 7 years older than me. She should have noticed that everyone except her keep the restroom door closed.

I would suggest trying this. ^^ (signage)
Anyway, for my response:
I can think of (at least) two types of annoying people - those that annoy you on purpose, and those that annoy you but are unaware they are doing so.
For the first type, perhaps I'll tell them (angrily or not, it doesn't matter... maybe angrily is even better so they know I'm serious) at least once that I don't appreciate what they're doing. Just so they are aware that I don't find it funny. If they continue to annoy me, I guess the only other thing to do is ignore them.
For the second type, also tell them at least once (but nicely this time), maybe twice in case they forget. But if they forget so many times, that might be too much...

I think it's her habit. My sister left the doors opened as well just, in our apartment. Somewhere else, she didn't do that. It's not nice

I think if it's your home, leaving the door open is fine but if it's a public place, say an office, I think it's customary to keep the door closed.

@IncredKaren Absolutely. You should be really aware how you're behaving. As you said, she is longer at the firm so, she's oblivious. Not good

That's a good thinking however, I just can't ignore the smell coming from the restroom since our office is fully air-conditioned.

Yes, Jabo. It's where we do numbers 1 and 2. She closes the door when she's inside and leave the door open when she's done.

If I can ignore it I would go for that, and if not I will say to them just to stop.

My concern is, for how long to do I have to remind her? Isn't twice enough? What more if it's more than that? I'll understand tho if she just graduated but that's no the case. She's 32 years old.

My mistake, it should be 'every time she's done using the restroom, she always leaves the door open'.
