Have you ever been underemployed?

I graduated a bachelor's degree in Psychology 8 years ago. I was able to land a job in human resources for 2 years and even if I would get promoted to a managerial position, it won't support my life's responsibilities. Getting promoted will take 5 years or so in that company.
I decided to move to a different field which is the call center industry. It pays good, requires a nocturnal ability and lots of patience. Before, i was working to survive everyday without saving anything. After changing my profession, i realized i needed a comfortable life than a good title.

@moichan I hope you enjoy the work as well. I sent on to get a Ph.D. in Psychology, but I wanted to "save the world," so I've rarely (except for teaching, and that's not that much) been paid what I'm worth. But I do sleep well at night.

It is very realistic that we need enough money to make ourselves comfortable.

I've worked in call centres. You need to be mentally and emotionally strong to work in those positions.
