question: if you are to choose your life partner, which one do you prefer, short or tall men or women? why? How true is it that when a guy is tall. he prefers a short gal and vice versa? Do you think being short or tall has advantages and disadvantages?

I don't think height has anything to do with it. What matters is love and compatibility.
