Okay, so here's the story. Today, I have a doctor's appointment. Nothing to worry about. When you turn 65 the doctor does a Medicare evaluation. So yes, @BelleStarr, today is my day with the doctor, and I'm ready. The questionnaire is filled out, I have my drugs in my bag, ready to go.
Knowing there's the possibility of bloodwork, I haven't had breakfast yet, something I'm not planning on until after I get home. I determined that last night and being that it's after 9, I'm not hungry, which normally I am starving by this time of the morning.
I'm going to interact until I leave, and then it will be all book when I get home. I did 2+ chapters yesterday. I would have done three, but it rained all day, and then the thunder started in along with the lightning, so I thought it would be wise to get off the computer.
I watched a movie on Netflix, I do not recommend to anyone, called Come Sunday. It's a 'Christian' movie. Martin Sheen is in it, but I have no idea who played Bishop Carlton Pearson who went off the deep end with his theology. The story is based on fact. If you've seen it, you know why I don't recommend it.
Looking out, I'm seeing the clouds are dissipating and blue skies are starting to take over the sky. Looks like it will be a nice day after the nearly three inches of necessary rain we got yesterday. That should bring some life back to our lawns.
So, that's what's happening here. When I get my book finished and published, I will resume the Favorite Westerns series and Today in History. For now, you'll see me when I'm here. I should finish Thread of Evidence before the end of the month, and yes, I know that is only a couple days from now, but I only have 8 chapters left, so it's doable.
How are things with you? Thanks for reading.

Come Sunday is not a faith based movie nor following Christian themes. It's a progressive liberal propaganda production seeking to attack and undermine Christian fundamentalism and beliefs. Martin Sheen is a radical socialist leftist (they tend to be anti-Christian and church) so naturally this movie would appeal to him and he would never be in a faith based movie. He plays Oral Roberts and liberals despise evangelists.

@Kandae11 Sheen is very much a radical activist which is his right and privilege.

Things here are interesting. The first day the kids were in school the house was deathly quiet. I finally got accustomed to it. We have had a good first week of school. Right now I am not reading anything. I keep trying to find free ebooks on Bookbub but I can't seem to get interested in any of them that I download.

@just4him It is a bit at the time. They are tired and going to sleep earlier so that helps. I just have to make sure that they don't crash for a nap when they get home in the afternoons!

@Shellyann36 Yeah, that would make it hard for school schedules if they did that.

Things are OK here just trying to stay cool. So far, I have not needed any fans or AC but it is coming..I can feel I am starting to perspire a little. Hopefully, the doctor goes OK.

The doctor went just fine, thank you. I haven't needed it a lot, and last night was the first time in a couple months I didn't have my ceiling fan on when I went to bed.

It turned out to be the only meal I had that day, though it was a large one considering how hungry I was when I got home.

We had a nice reprieve from the rain yesterday, but the clouds are forming for rain coming in tonight.
