Hello everyone.
My sister in law message me last night when they arrived in Sydney. They arrived there at 10:30pm (8:30 Philippine time) and it was a whooping 8 degrees Celsius. Well, as you all know I live in a tropical country and 8 degrees for us would awesomely cold.
The lowest and coldest temperature I experienced is 10-12 degrees Celsius and this was in Sagada, Mountain Province during a December and February trip. So, for me 8 degrees is another wow factor. i love the cold, but not too cold.
Hope you have an awesome night/day.

In the US, 8 C would be a very mild fall or winter day. Funny.

@JamesHxstatic Funny that I said the same thing James. 8 Celsius in winter is considered warm here.

@rakski yes. we were given blue frocks by the ministry of health and we use them in triples. in Kuwait, we were only allowed to wear dark blue sweaters or jackets on duty; no other colors but dark blue, or navy blue for that matter.
here is a picture of me in navy blue adidas sweater while i was on night shift at pediatric ward in Kuwait.

Yes for us Filipinos we really appreciate cold days than the warm seasons. Cold temperature here in Manila only ranges from 20-27c so 8 degrees would be pretty cold and it will definitely need a lot of jackets or sweater to warm you up.
I also did experience that last April when I went to NY. Temperature there really went down to 1-7c. It was really cold that you need to have at least three layers of jacket and sweater to warm you up. I enjoyed my summer vacation there and it was early spring time there so everything was cold and dry there all day long.

They are in Sydney for a visit of 6 days. My nephew will start his ojt on Sept10.
I visited Sagada 4 times. We usually stay 2-3 days. There are a lot of guest houses, transient houses there. The first time I went there, there were still no signal for cellphone and only few transient houses. But now, they already have internet cafes there and hot showers.

Wow, that was cold. As for me, the lowest and coldest temperature I have experienced was 12 degrees and this was in Hong Kong (Holiday Season). I almost got a fever since I am not used to a freezing weather condition. I had to wear 2-3 sweaters when going out. Another one is in Baguio City (14 degrees).
