Is it safe to use Google Tez App?

Some of my colleagues in the office is using Google Tez app to earn money. One of them has earned 300bucks yesterday. I also earned Rs.51 from transferring money to one of my colleagues. But, after that, whenever I am doing transaction, I am not getting any money in return. Moreover, we have to give our account details to open the app.
Is there anyone who has used this app? Is the app safe?

I have not heard about this app. It is for money transaction?? I am not in favor of earning from any app. I prefer to earn on my laptop with sites.I am a little skeptical about downloading apps and have only the much needed ones in my phone.
