Kalimera and lots of Agapi

Just as I did for over five years on the Bubblews channel (before being robbed) and for the three years I am here, I would start my Fridays with a Greek greeting "Kalimera, Kalimera everyone" . . . which means Good Morning to you all. Fridays are my happy days, and I know that if AA Milne was still alive and I could have a chat with him, he would probably add it to his Winnie the Pooh collection as well - Fridays are Happy Days! Just this morning I got news of another of Katerina's reads ready to be published and I am thrilled to say that I will have all six of her books in my collection. Float the Goat will have to wait a while before I get to it because I have only just completed Olive Virgins. Goat in the Meze was the first, then we went onto Rampaging Roosters before the arrival of Olive Virgins. Next on my list will be 'Goatly Goings On' and with the cover revealing a bicycle, I am quite excited as to where its storyline might lead me on my fantasy travels. Greek Capers and Float the Goat will probably see me into my next years reading plan, but then as I told Katerina, I am in no hurry to get through my virtual travels and the fond connection I have made with all the characters in her funny and twisted humorous books. So to all of you that have started your Friday, have a great one. Greek Facts: The Greeks invented comedy - true (you can google it if you dont believe me) Kefi is the Greek word for one's happiness The middle finger originated in ancient Greece. (ha ha ha ha no explanation needed) Birthday candles began in ancient Greece - Happy Birthday Plato! just click on the Kalimera tag to take yourself to a feast of Greek posts

@inlemay A truly sublime part of the world. I can feel another expedition to the islands coming on even though I was there in May. Off to county Meigh Eo now.

How wonderful - your travels take you to places my heart skip a beat to hear. Wave along the coastline to a place I know well - Galway where my daddy lies beneath the sea. xxxx

A lovely part of the world that was once a great Empire bringing us many traditions and important discoveries. I am so glad that Katerina has a good success with her books.

I am loving them, and while I read them, I can just imagine her sitting there writing these stories for us to enjoy and laugh at

Kalimera my friend. I will have plenty of practice of saying that on Saturday as I am off to Cyprus for a week!

Happy Friday for tomorrow. I didn't realize you were still around these parts. So, are those books a little bit of fantasy or what? They sounds interesting and fun.

Many congratulations to Katerina! That's wonderful. We toured Greece and I studies it in college. It is an amazing country and the site of civilization.

Only nearly a month late to reply Lany, I saw this by chance when searching thro' an old email file. So happy you're enjoying the Greek Meze series. Hope you recognised the cover of Goatly Goings On is Bald Yannis on his bike with a goat. I will leave you with a Kalimera for Friday morning.
