It Is Hard To Believe...

It is hard to believe, when you look at this photo of my Missy Daisy, that she is now blind. I took this photo of her last week and she is looking up at me, or it seems as if she is looking up at me, but actually she was just listening to my voice.
She suddenly went blind in March this year, it seemed as if it happened in a matter of days. The vet said all we can do is make sure we keep her environment the same and we have, she also has her own enclosed garden so she has that safe space to be outside. And amazingly she is doing quite well. We baby her even more now.
Sorry I haven't been around today but I have had such a busy day cleaning up everything and get washing done after nearly 43 hours with no water and so tonight I was sitting going through photos on my phone trying to relax a bit when I saw this photo and I thought I just have to share it with all on myLot who knows Missy Daisy from my previous discussions about her. She is more adorable than ever. I will try to catch up with you a bit tonight.
Have a good weekend all.
Photo is mine of Missy Daisy.

@bluesaPoor Daisy, I hope she can move and jump and have fun even if she cannot see anymore.

@LadyDuck , yes, she will happily sit sunning herself in the garden and when she wants to be lifted onto the sofa, she will put her front paws on the sofa. She also still shows me when she wants to go to bed by actually leading the way, we have kept her environment the same and she goes by sense. She amazes me each day.

OH dear I am so sorry to hear about your dog. She looks the same as my daughters dog. It is beautiful. She will adapt. Nice to catch up with you. Shame about this post though.

Sad that she lost her sight but she hasn't lost her good looks and I'm happy that she is so loved and cared for.

this is one discussion that i cannot press the tag ''like''; it is because your pet dog has some problem with her sight and i usually get so misty-eyed when i read posts like this.
our Chibi has his right eye becoming smaller and getting in to the eyeball socket. he is also becoming more deaf. right now, he is sleeping under my chair. i believe he feels comfortable when he stays near anyone of us here at home.

It's amazing how animals don't let their disabilities stop them from living and enjoying their life. They adapt and overcome. We humans can learn a lot from them in that respect.

True, Jeff. She humbles us with how she has adapted @moffittjc .
