It's natural to class people as this or that, but I am always willing to change my opinions if they merit it.

It is actually human tendency to classify. It begins with what is edible, what is not..which rooms are ok to sleep in, and who are our neighbors, etc. Classification helps us increase the speed with which we process our data and take decisions. Sometimes we go wrong. But most of the time, we are right. The problem is, when we go wrong, we can go very wrong. LOL

Love your photo in Tuscany! My husband loved Tuscany so much that we returned. I try not to label people, but put them into categories. It’s human nature.

I think people like to put things into easy categories, other people included. I don't know why we do this, maybe it's some kind of organization impulse.

No, why should I. Even if a person is a failure or whatever, we shouldn't label them as such., Negative labels is a no-no for me. I am always for the name of the person and not label him/her at all.

I do not put labels on anyone. I was hurt to bad when I was a child by people being mean to me. I will not do that to anyone else. Everyone has a right to be who they are. You and Mike look happy.

I love Tuscany. I avoid to put labels on people. We all have a different personality so there is no reason to place a label.

It's true. I try not to but - but I find that I do label people at times. I'm doing it less, but it's still there. We make assumptions that aren't always true. I think it best to get to know someone. Nice photo !

Labeling people based on their attitude, yes. As much as possible I don't want to get close to people who think I'm the worst kind of human being because of my sickness.

Placing labels on or stereotyping people has become the way of separating humanity. It is also how the ones in power can keep tabs on everyone, by placing them in certain "classes" and statuses. That is quickly changing as more and more people see each other as equal.
