Do you have to work on Saturdays?

I have a five-&-a-half day work schedule and have to be at work on Saturdays from 8 to 12.30. Do you need to work on Saturdays? I've gotten so used to it that it doesn't bother me.

I only worked 5 days a week. I really do not know why some requires half day on a Saturday. Maybe the nature of work requires the need for that extended work day.

@rsa101 we have a morning schedule that is the same as other days. So the work is not lesser in any way.

@pitstop Maybe for as long as you like what you are doing then the 1/2 day workday will not be a problem with you. I can imagine if that would be applied in our workplace. Most probably people will just be there for the 4 hours and do less since its just half day work.

Thats a long week. Do you like what you do? I work Wednesday through Saturday 10pm to 8am. For me, I dislike the schedule but will make do for the time being.

Yes, Saturdays is a work day too. Thankfully it is usually a half day (until the boss decides to give some extra work). I do get some little time in the evening
