I thought we should get a break or rest whenever it permits

We have unending activities wherever we are, whether at home or at work. There were times that we feel like it’s such a long and exhausting day and we are not on our best mood to act. However, we’re trying to manage our day to carry the responsibilities.
After doing some home work, I was tired and took a nap. It was a good nap because I felt replenished and energized again for my activity this afternoon.
When we feel tired, let’s listen to our body. No matter how many of those things left undone, we should not strive or exhaust ourselves too much because we only have one body and it can’t be replaced.

Definitely even the Bible says that we have to rest at least once in a week too. Our body can accommodate somuch in a day’s work. We all need that rest from time to time for us to perform better every day. Those that abuses their bodies usually end up getting sick due to stress.

You are right because if we don't listen to the needs of our body, illness will surface. There are many sources of stressors in my life, and I do what I can to rebalance my system and one of my favorites is sleep and nap.

@ZedSmart That is true. That is why I am quite worried for myself as I have somehow let stress and overwork lead my life during younger days . I hope I can still make up for those.

That's right. It will also help us to be more functional after a power nap.

if we keep pushing ourselves, we tend to make mistakes or worse, even have mini-accidents.
