I've heard so many excuses for people not wearing a helmet, it sickens me. 1. I'm driving quite slow 2. It will give me a bald spot 3. It's uncomfortable 4. It causes dandruff 5. I've not worn one for 10 years and I'm alive 6. I am a safe rider What are some of the excuses you have heard?

i have seen motorcyclists wearing their helmet, both hands on the handlebars, BUT have their cellphone inserted between their helmet and their ear.

I have never gone far so my helmet is not used except outside my area.

@Shavkat the rules are there but cops don't implement them strictly.

@pitstop I hope the local government of every country should impose strict rules on this concern.

Our young friend was fined as he had his helmet on but hadn't done it up.

Well most of the excuses may be valid and philosophical.. But I think that they didn’t know what the real essence of the law was. It is meant for general public to abide by and no one is excused because of that excuses they have.

I think I've heard about the same. There really is no excuse not to wear a helmet. Safety first.

Maybe saying oneself is claustrophobic will work as a good excuse

The weirdest one I have heard is that wearing a helmet would ruin my hairstyle.
