The Nun Movie

I know many people thought it was going to be horror and something serious. In reality. Big NO. They tried their best to create atmospheric horror. But they failed. Not even kids will get afraid of the movie. And the worst part was the store was not having much depth. And it lacked a lot of seriousness to be honest. If you are planning to watch the movie. Save it. Not worth spending money. Watch it on netflix or prime.

Yeah, it seems you are right, most people that saw the movie said the same thing. It's just a jump scare fest and the story lacks a backbone. I had high hopes for this movie, but I'll pass. Now I'm looking forward to "Mandy", I need some Nic Cage rage .

@skysnap dunno about that, but I wanted something great and it seems they have something lame. I watched The Conjuring recently and last night I watched The Conjuring 2. Both are great and there are some well done scary moments. The Nun... I don't need cheap scares, I need a good story.

I think Hollywood should start using practical effects on horror movies again. CGI is not scary because it looks like a videogame.

if you watch nun you'd expect CGI instead. because here the normal level of atmospheric horror didnt worked.

Thanks for the review, I was intending to watch it with my friends and then we happen to read the reviews. The movie critics and the viewers have given it a big thumbs down. I am glad, I saved my money.

I have no intention of watching this movie because as you said, the horror of the story is not depicted well. I have also read it reviews in other sites. No one I think is impressed by the movie.

nun is not scary at all. plus story has no depth. even kids can make this one more scary in their imagination.
