Have you ever taken or considered taking a vacation from Mylot since joining? I have been here for almost three years - and left twice. Once for a week in order to complete an order for my business - and the second time I was off for 20 days because of internet problems.
On both occasions I was anxious to be back , so maybe mylot is my vacation spot. What do you think about taking a vacation from the internet on a whole - how long could you last? How would you fill your time?

I regularly go on an online detox and when I do I do not go online here in myLot. Other times, life happens and I have no choice but to put myLot in the back burner.

@Kandae11 true.
Sometimes though, I just want to myLot the whole day and not have a care about the real world.

Yes, myLot is my place to relax. If it gets too much then I decrease my discussions or deal with lighter subjects where I don't have to think too much.

@Kandae11 That's a nice break! If I start watching movies then I forget about everything else.

@1hopefulman same here - I avoid such movies. When I am caught offguard I use my remote.

The only time I was away from myLot for a vacation was two years ago when I went on a holiday and didn't have any computer access. I didn't have a laptop at the time, and my phone didn't have Internet access, so I was completely technology free. It felt good, but only for a couple of days. They were full days. We went to Washington Island, my friend and me, and spent three days discovering everything about the island and had a terrific time.
Here is a picture from my vacation to Washington Island. This picture was taken from the top of a tower overlooking the island.

The way my internet acts most of the time I feel like a partial vacation.

I have taken a lot of breaks from myLot - not intentionally though. Life just takes over sometimes, if not often, and I have to tend to it. I know that I can get a lot done by staying off the computer - but I know I'd have to sneak in to take a peek - I don't like to miss out .

I have been absent when we are away and have not been around much for the past few weeks, so I guess that is a vacation of sorts. I would be at a loss in a way without internet.

I would say I joined My Lot over two years ago now and when I first joined I left and cannot remember why. When I came back I am here except when days or periods of time I cannot be. I enjoy being here and interacting and getting to know people here. I have met some very good people that I call friends here.

I've taken a break from Mylot a lot of times. I usually leave for a couple of months and then come back. I'm not the most active user on here, but it's always fun to return to mylot.
It's been a long time since I've taken a break from the internet. I don't think I've even taken a break since I was able to get internet on my phone.

I don't intend to take any planned vacation. But sometimes I am off the site when I am busy with something else.

@Kandae11 Still I get itch to come here after a long tiring day of offline duties. It is so tough to stay away from it.
