Still waiting for the warmer weather.

It's supposed to be Spring here in Australia. Well, it is, but we are still getting frosts in the morning, and the temperature is still dropping to close to 0°C(32°F) overnight. To me, that is far too cold.
Tonight, I will head out for a few hours to Ukulele group. By the time it finishes, 8.30pm, it will be quite cold.
My routine then will be the same as it has for the last few months- shower to warm up, flannelette pyjamas, a warm milo drink, and bed about 9.30pm. I'm not tired, mind you, it's just that bed is the warmest place in the house. I wont sleep until 11.30 or so, but at least I'll be warm. What is your evening routine for weather that is too cold, or too hot?

Enjoy your meal. I like in the summer months to sit outside to have my tea at night. If we sit out early enough, the mosquitos don't come and bite us.

@JadePlatypus I finished my dinner and I ate well, thank you.
How many more months to go for summer season?

@vsai2008 Our Summer starts in December and goes until February. However it usually starts to get hot in November and stays hot until March. We have a hot, dry summer, our rains come in the winter months here.

I guess you don't feel like putting the heat on again?? Here, we are getting colder because it is Fall- but some warm days ahead.

We have ducted heating, which warms the house nicely, but doesn't really warm the body (if that makes sense). When I don't have an early start, a hot bath is the perfect answer, it's as if hot water warms from the inside out.

I've been known to go to bed just to keep warm too. I could light the fire but there is only me here at the moment so it hardly seems worth it.

bed weather indeed. Autumn has just begun at my end.Usually I prefer taking hot tea or I serve soup on supper to warm up.

Sometimes the milo drink is not inviting, I have hot water with lemon and honey instead. It is very relaxing, and I can drink 2 or 3 of these before bed.
