Are You Disciplined Enough To Avoid?

Following a healthy lifestyle may not be easy or difficult to us. It all depends on how submissive we are with our conscience. When I thought I was over with these junks only to find out consuming it for the meantime. Well, I took the risk. I should forgive myself for being so obedient with the call of my appetite. Doing it once in a while is not totally harmful, I supposed. What do you think?

I do give in to those junk foods once in a while. I guess there's no harm in it.

@ZedSmart Don't worry, it will not harm us. As long as the next day you will exercise for at least 30 minutes.

We give in when it's hard to resist Maybe there's no harm because it's not consumed oftentimes.

@ZedSmart I have cut out some junk food and do not eat like I did before. When I am full I stop eating.

@ZedSmart You have to do what is best for you and not for anyone else. You have to move at your speed.

If you have done it, don't go back to it. If you said NO to junk food, live with it. because eventually you will see yourself eating junk food again.

@ZedSmart as you said in your title "discipline" if you broke it again, tsk it is difficult to get back on the right one once more. more difficult than you did it on the first time.

You have a point in there. There are just time that we can't help ourselves to eat the foods that we used to. However, it should not be the usual habit.

It's quite challenging for me. I appreciate you have done it. I tend to have craving many a times sometimes I'm able to control while sometimes I tend to have junk to end the craving.

We can't avoid them all the times. There's time that we indulge once in a while.

I said no to junk foods and soft drinks since I have thyroid. It’s quite challenging for but I have to avoid them for my health. So I just drink water instead of soft drinks.

We are obliged to follow the restriction if we already have the health issues. It's for our own good though. It's us who still suffer if we keep on violating.

Yeah there is this idea that eating once or twice is not bad at all. It also is healthy to reward your body with the food you used to enjoy in the past but you could not at the present because of an illness. But then it should not become a habit that you will follow your cravings always to train your body without it.

@ZedSmart Yes sometimes when you give in to your cravings you would usually be tempted to eat more because you missed the taste and everything you like about that. That is where you should discipline your mind and body cravings. If you still are weak from controlling it then you are not worthy of giving in from time to time.

You are right that we should not make it a habit. We should remind ourselves of the limitations.

Glad to hear that you're able to cut your consumption to that particular period only. That's what it should be. I don't know if it's just me but I noticed that those drinks in a bottle has better taste compare to those in tins or plastics. I like Nagaraya too.

Our health should be our major concern because it's difficult if we neglected it.

I think so. It just went bad if we're eating it regularly.

I don't want to feel like I've been deprived. And I can't resist a delicious favorite. So no. I don't have discipline.
