Does meditation improve your memory ?

I've read on several sites that meditation improves concentration and memory. So I was wondering, does anyone of you meditate ? I usually meditate to reduce stress. I didn't know that this has something to do with my working memory.

I cannot tell, I do not meditate and I have been told that I have the memory of an elephant. Maybe I would get the memory of 2 elephants if I was meditating? I will read the responses to this discussion with interest.

I've heard the same too but I don't meditate at all. I heard it can help you focus too.

@august18 Do you have a tutor for that or you simply watch videos on youtube or have an app that guides you how to meditate?

I go to the rooftop, lay on my back, close my eyes and listen to soft music.

That made me think. I do meditate when I can. My usual form of meditation is the holy rosary. I'm not sure if it improves my memory but it does help me focus and calm down.
