What happens to old activity?

So I was quite active on myLot years ago but life led me in different directions and I didn't get time to post here. I logged in yesterday after years and found that the payment system has been re-introduced. What happens to points/activity that happened long back? Do we get paid for that or have those points lapsed? I see that they count towards my overall score but is that it?
