I agree, after long periods in front of a computer I feel kind of irritaded.

It can have side effects if you spend too much time on it, like anything.

Not addicted. Sitting hurts me after a little while. I limit my time online to a couple three hours a day, never use a phone for online.

Not sure but I don't have it- haha! Unless they are talking about the effect being on digital devices have on your life if you are addicted. I'm only partially addicted.

I know that staring at my computer or cell phone screen for too long causes my eyes to feel strained. I would say there are side effects to using digital things but they are not that serious. I find that I just don't get much sleep at night from being on the internet all day. My sleep patterns get ruined as using digital often makes for long nights getting addicted to browsing the internet. That's good you are not addicted to using digital products. I would say social media has taken over in such a way that the only way to reach people I know is through the internet now these days.

I would have to think that digital side effects would be eye strain, possibly headaches from using the computer, even carpel tunnel, which is from keyboarding and using a mouse.
I do have an issue with my arm from keyboarding-a repetitive injury.
I do find that too much computer use gives me a headache since my concussion, but I think that I am still healing. So I just use it less-simple!

@amadeo Its hard to stop, I get up and am going 100 mph as soon as my feet hit the floor.
But.....this weekend we are getting away for 1 night. Stepping back in time, to a place not too far from here, where they still use horse and buggies.
We'll drive, and use our SUV, but it will be a much slower pace.
So I'll slow down for a bit.

If it means you're always glued to your smartphone, computer, TV, or anything else that's digital, it's a good thing you aren't. I admit I spend a lot of time on my computer. The side effect for me would be stiffness when I get up from my chair.

I didn't really know what was meant but after reading the responses I now know. Sometimes I get a stiff neck from sitting too long.
