My friday isn't at all productive because of severe migraine. For days, I have stayed late at night in front of my pc to meet the deadlines and now, migraine has been tormenting me.
Then, while resting, I just receive a message from my husband saying he is rushed to the hospital because of a bee sting. I panic of course. So I call. But then his phone is out of reach. He turns off his phone so as not to be disturbed perhaps. For the meantime, I google for it and i simply find out that bee sting is not harmful at all but if you are allergic to it, it can be deadly. I hope everything is ok and nothing so serious lies ahead. I will call him again later.
Have you ever been stung by a bee?

I hope your husband has recovered by now from his bee sting. I have never been strung yet. I learned a lot about bees when my husband used to keep them in the backyard. I was afraid of them at first until I learned more about them and that they are usually only dangerous when they feel threatened or if they are defending their hives. So I respect their boundaries.

Many people are allergic to bee, hornet and wasp stings. Your husband may be one of them if he had a reaction severe enough to go to the hospital. Hopefully he will be okay.

@Janet357 Now that he knows he is allergic to bee stings he can better prepare for it just in case.

@Starmaiden yes. It was totally unexpected. There were no flowers in his office and yet some bee was roaming the area:)

Hope your husband is not allergic. Perhaps he began swelling a lot. Sometimes that can be a reaction.

I think it would be dangerous if you're bitten by many of them. Which one stung him? I think honey bee or the other one that is bigger is dangerous. My sibling had been stung by smaller kind when we tried to rid the beehive hanging in the wall of our house and suddenly it falls when she pass under.
