Do you Believe in Dreams

I would love more than anything to dream about my son. I believe some dreams have meaning. Others just never make any sense. But I need to dream about my son, a connection is what it would be. The only snippets I get are just that... snippets of him running away. I wake up in frustration. Would rather nothing at all than this type of "dream". Anybody else experience this?

No but I used too. For me not dreaming or remembering them is better.

I have not had this type of dream no Carol.
I can only imagine the upset this must cause you and very frustrating.
It would be good if Dustin was facing you and coming toward you even.
I am so sorry for the loss of your son, I am assuming something happened to him. It must be devastating.

@CarolDM Thank you for sharing with me Carol. Sorry is not enough to even say for this type of loss. Just the loss must feel like punishment and now with these disturbing dreams oh my goodness. Suffering is what that is those dreams, suffering for you. Intense, I can understand as a Mother myself.

@Courage7 You are welcome. Was going to write about it but most don't want to hear sad news. Thank you for taking the time for your kind words. It is has been several years but still feels like it just happened on many days. Hug your children.

Oh yeah I have lots of dreams that are meaningless but I think they are just sending some message to us which we have to decipher. Although I am not able to interpret it immediately sometimes it takes time before you fully understand it or many times you are not able to decipher its message at all.

I dreamed about my cat last night..and in the dream when I took him to the vet..it wasn't anything major. I hope that is the case in real life. I hope that you and your son are happily re united at some time..

I had a clear view of my mother. I cried before going to sleep and told God how much she's missed. To my surprise, I did see her standing in the dining room. I don't call this a dream though. She was just standing there looking in my direction. Did I just imagine this?

I'm so sorry for the loss of your child. I do have dreams of the departed sometimes. I'm always so happy to see them.Maybe if you go to bed relaxing and thinking good thoughts about your son it would help.I don't have those dreams often but sometimes I do.

So sorry to hear about your loss. You miss him like anything, you want to feel the connection you had with him ,which is what happens when we loose our loved ones.I can not even imagine the pain you must be going through everyday , every moment. But I must say you are coping with your loss in a constructive manner. May god give you all the strength.

Sometimes I do. Sometimes, I don't. Been having a lot of weird dreams lately so I want to not believe in these days.

This may not be the same to you but for me it is. The cats and dogs that I share life with are family to me and mine. My daughter was very close to one of our dogs. She shared with me that she has had dreams that had Susie in them. It felt like Susie was saying goodbye to her. I hope you do feel contact with your son. Hugs to you.
