There are so many people claiming to get cured of weight loss through their methods. Like certain exercises, following certain diet methods and herbal remedies etc. There are so many out there. How can we know who is right and who is wrong?

I think once a person makes up their mind to lose weight, they will lose it regardless. This is what happened to me. Ever since I was 16 I had a problem with my weight. I would go to weight watchers, eat their recommended products and I lost 40 lbs, but as soon as I stopped the weight watchers diet, I would gain all of that weight back and then some within a matter of months. The weight watchers diet is very costly. In my early twenties I lost another 40 lbs and was so proud of myself, but with my first pregnancy I gained back 60 pounds. My doctor was not impressed. After the baby was born, I fell into a depression over my circumstances and gained another 60 pounds, which I held onto for 3 yrs. I was 28 years old and 120 lbs overweight! After I broke my right ankle, it wasn't healing properly because of my weight. That is when I made up my mind to lose the weight once and for all. I put myself on a diet where I didn't have to quit eating the foods I love. (pizza, ice cream...) I just trained myself to eat these foods in smaller portions and less frequently. I also increased my exercise routine after my ankle healed and within 9 months I lost 120 lbs! I have kept that weight off now for 24 years. I even had a second pregnancy where I gained 25 lbs, but the weight came off within weeks of giving birth. Putting yourself on costly diet that forbids you to eat certain foods or a certain number of calories in order to lose weight is BS in my book. It will come off faster and stay off longer when you train yourself to eat moderately and sensibly.

Stop eating so many calories and move more. It really isn't hard. There are no magical fixes.
