No Doctors Fee wow :D

Philippines
September 17, 2018 1:18am CST
It was like a Family reunion when we had a visit with the doctor we haven't seen in years. He was my doctor since my childhood though, kinda like a family doctor. Not just me, but my Grandma and Auntie had ailments of their own. As for me, I was surprised that he prescribed with a completely different brand of medication. Looks like I have to stop what I was currently taking. In the end, there was no doctors fee, which was crazy. maybe my follow up.

Some doctors do not charge fees if you go for check up but they sell expensive medicines. So it also seems like they also charged you... It's good if they don't require you to buy there...

Well he is a family friend of your family, so that is why it is for free. SOme doctors here would not ask for consultation fee when they know that your child is a doctor too, though in a far hospital.

Indeed he is a family doctor but I'm not saying he's just your own family doctor. Family doctor is another term used for doctors who are general practitioners, one with no specialisation but caters to all kinds of general sickness.

Hello @toniganzon I wouldn't really call him an expert on other things like my grandma's blood clot on her brain two years ago. But he had been helpful on many occasions, specially with my gout.
