Hello everyone. We are safe. A bit of roof damage we are waiting on repairs for but no flood damage. Other parts of our area are under several feet of water. One section of our little community was evacuated and we have several bridges out. Two interstates are underwater even. We are very fortunate. My computer is down at the moment. I will be back when I can. Please keep North and South Carolina in your thoughts and prayers.

Good you got away with just a little damage. That will take a bit of time I guess to bring everything around you to normalcy.

I'm so glad you hear that you're safe. Sorry to hear about the flooding, it's been so tragic in so many parts of NC and SC. You'll be in my prayers.

@1creekgirl Thank you very much. We were fortunate, just the roof damage but lots of people are still out of their homes.

Happy to hear that you are safe and hopefully can get your roof repaired quickly. From what I see on the news it's a mess there.

@Marilynda1225 It was a mess and we did get our roof fixed. We are lucky, so many people are still without homes even now months later.

we didn't have any damage here either. I stayed with my uncle while the storm happened. A tree or tree limb had fell after the storm.
