Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven

There truly is nothing that stays the same in life. Life changes, sometimes for the better and sometimes not.
I think it's human nature to want most things to stay pretty much like they are. If those things are what make us happy at the moment.
But what if you have a chronic, debilitating illness? You would give most anything for that to change.
And it will one day. The Holy Bible promises there is a season for everything and that at the end of this life, there is hope for an eternal home made possible through belief in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The promise that everything in life will change at some point can be a great comfort to those in pain. It can also be a reminder to those who are happy to not ever take anything for granted. It too will change one day.
So.....love more deeply, forgive more freely, live more fully, and always trust your soul to the Savior.

I was also taught this. But all the people I know that have had or do have still a chronic illness still do not want to die. They want to fight for life, although knowing a pain free life is ahead of them in heaven.

It seems that God has set a time for everything to be done and we are constantly moving forward towards the thing we hope, One day, the good things will be what we will enjoy!

@1creekgirl Yes, there were some similarities. I guess, great minds think alike and sometimes even on the same day.

Thanks, Hope. I think you might have written a similar post just today? Was that you? I read it after I wrote mine, but I thought it was really cool to have some of the same thoughts.

I have a serious health condition and people as me how I do it, living a happy healthy lifestyle with it. And I tell them, "My life was changed forever by this. And even now, I could never go back to the life I had before knowing what I know, learning what I have learned, and changing the way I have. A lot of times people see illness as a bad thing, but for me having this condition which I struggle with, changed my life for the better on so many levels.

That's very inspiring. I'm glad that whatever your health problem is, it has changed you for the better and not worse. God gives us grace and mercy through so many avenues.

If I could still see well enough to cross stitch, I think I'd do that last line in my post, lol

@1creekgirl I just saw someone post in a sewing group about a thrift store find that can sew words into stuff!
I'd love to do a bible verse collection for my couch!
