Horrible bosses

Sometimes you have a nice boss. Sometimes you have a bad boss. And sometimes there are some really horrible bosses . If they spend 2 hours on the phone every day, I have no problem with that. If they spend 7 hours (out of 8) on the phone for personal problems and they complain they have too much work to do, then I have a problem with that. If they brag about how smart they are and about the complex problems they solve every day, I have no problem with that. But if you take credit for my work, yes, I have a problem with that. But most of all... if they make a mistake and then try to blame me for it... well, I have a HUGE problem with that! Man I'm angry!

I do not consider myself a bad boss, but I recommend you talk to a professional because I understand with the publication that you have problems in your workplace and that is not good.

The thing is I tried to discuss with her superiors and they said to let it go, she will retire and I should endure it a little longer. So be it. I hope she leaves soon .

Bad bosses are infuriating. I've had a couple of exceptionally terrible ones over the years.

This was the first for me and it's quite horrible. But we'll see, it seems that she'll leave in a few months. I really hope she does .

Quitting is not an option. I used to like my job, that is, until this one became my boss. We'll see, maybe things will work out for the best soon .

Been there. Had an incompetent boss at one job who had no clue what her job entailed. She cost me hundreds of dollars with her mistakes.

@Kasjnak Sounds familiar. The person I'm thinking of has pretty much destroyed a good institution.

@TheHorse fortunately, she can't do that. Anyway, I hope she'll leave soon, I'll try to resist until then .

Well, mine just doesn't know what a team is. When we have good results she tries to take all credit for them, when we have poor results, or worse, when SHE makes a mistake, she tries to blame us. She's not a good person and definitely not a good boss.

My bosses have always been great but I know I've been lucky.

@Kasjnak That is such a shame. It must be very difficult working with her.

I was lucky too, until she became our boss. When my former boss retired, he was very concerned about her, he knew she'll be our boss and he told us to be very careful. We knew what was coming, but man, she really angers me sometimes!

@JudyEv it is. I usually ignore all this stuff, but sometimes enough is enough.

In my opinion,if somebody really dont like the boss or cant get use with him the best solution is to just quit and everybody happy.

Easier said than done . Quitting my job is not an option right now, but there is a big chance my boss will .
