A Very Sensitive Pregnancy

So, after 8 years of marriage (and 7 yrs. of relationship prior to that), me and my husband was finally blessed to have our first baby! Of course, we're not just the ones excited but our whole family and even our friends as well!
I was a happy preggo, until 1 day I saw pinches of blood after visiting the toilet, my doctor gave me medications for the baby to keep him on his position and I was advised to have a bed rest for a week. And it became 2 weeks to 1 month long. My employer was kind enough to just have me work at home online so we can assure the baby's safety. It was very scary because until the very last semester, there are still small patches of blood on my liners and it's not really a good sign.
Sometimes, I would cry and ask God why this is happening. And as if I'm not yet frightened enough, 1 day I receive a call from my Father, he's not feeling well and his tone was completely different from the usual. I will write the whole story on my next post, but to give an idea how much painful it was, my Father passed away that month.. :(
I started stress eating which is a big no-no specially during the 7th to 9th month as it will be difficult to deliver the baby normally when the mother is overweight. My mind wasn't really stable but with the help of prayers, and strictly following my doctors advise, I was able to give birth to a healthy baby boy! We nicknamed him after my late father, Bienvenido. We call him Baby Bien <3

I´m so sorry for your loss. And congratulations for the birth of your baby boy. Bienvenido means welcome is Spanish and it is the best name that baby could have

That is very common for women to have spotting through a pregnancy you probably has a small tear in the umbilical cord or the thinning of cervix those can leave you with spotting. Bed rest is the best so the doctor was spot on with that.
It’s good that baby was born health that is what matters the most.
