@frenki He did not mention his age. What he said was, he has been smoking for 19 years.

At what age did you start smoking? @totoekek
Smoking takes a toll on one's health. And,you thinking of quitting is doing a great favor for yourself. That's a good decision. Now, how? My husband was a smoker.According to him,he could smoke a pack in a day. But, when he decided to quit, he did not do it overnight. That's impossible.
What he did was,he reduced smoking gradually. I Believe you can do that too.

@totoekek omg! You really should stop. It's not easy to wean yourself off from smoking because that has been your habit. I believe that you can do it. I,myself,am trying to wean away from eating junk food. It is not easy because I crave for it.It is hard to fight the cravings.

Welcome to myLot. Enjoy the site!
The first step for all newbies is to read the Guidelines to learn what is allowed or not on the site. Then you can write a post introducing yourself. Tell us a bit about yourself.
Furthermore, read around as much as you can, Like and Comment on other members' posts. Only then will members come to your site and do the same. This is called interaction.
Don't expect too much money-wise. If you reach $5 a month (the payout limit), you can call yourself lucky.

It's good to hear that you want to quit from smoking. You can avoid it by taking nicotex or go to the rehab centre.

There are a lot of YouTube videos about how to quit smoking. You could watch some of those and see if any of those methods appeal to you. Doing research, having a plan and never giving up will pay off.

I knew I had to stop and so decided that I was going to quit and prayed and stuck to it and haven't smoked for many years. If you really want to stop then you can do it. All the best!

I wouldn't. You'll spend the rest of your life trying not to do something you really wanna do. Just do what you want.

Stop it because you might suffer from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
