Have you set your totally arbitray MyLot goal for September 2018?

I will make $100 tonight playing rock and roll music at a local bar. You've probably heard my solo music on YouTube. But I like playing rock and roll when we play "out," because I get to play bass and just...well...rock. $100 is as much as I make on My Lot in several months, plus I get free beer, wine, and Coke (the beverage, not the drug). But I still like to set totally arbitrary MyLot goals each month, just for fun. This month, I got off to a "killer" start on MyLot, for no reason in particular. Maybe it's because I'm slightly "underemployed" right now. But I've slowed down over the past few days, and will struggle to make my latest "MyLot goal." Have you set a goal for this month? Do you think you can make it? Tomorrow will be an intense day for me.

I use to spend more time on My Lot. My goal was to reach $20, which took a lot of work! Now, I try to make $10 each month, which isn't hard. I'd much rather be playing music, like you enjoy doing

I don't always make $10. But I do always make at least $100 making music...

@kanchan10 I try to submit two writings each day. Then, finish my notifications, read and comment on other member's writings. If I do this consistently, it's not hard to reach $10 each month.

I do this for fun but if I were to set a goal, I'd make it $45 billion because Bill Gates should not be richer than I am.

I should be able to make the $5 before September ends tomorrow night! So what are some of the songs your group will play tonight?

I set and surpassed my original totally arbitrary goal and set a new stretch goal for myself. I may fall just short of that stretch goal unless I have a great day tomorrow.

I am content and happy that I have made the 5. I am hoping that I might make more next month but I won't stress it. I will just come on here when I can and enjoy myself. Hope you have a great rock and roll night. I don't suppose you need a well-worn in dancing girl?

I'm been away so much I didn't expect to reach my usual goal but if I spend a while here today and tomorrow I just might make it. I get an extra day because the cutoff point is into the first day of my new month I'm sure you know what I'm trying to say.

How are you doing on meeting your totally arbitrary goal for the month? Much to my delighted surprise, I met and surpassed mine. Now I can afford that second cup of coffee.

I made more than my arbitrary goal, but now I need 25 cents for a round figure that I would like to reach before the end of September. I think I can.

Do you seriously make one hundred every few months here? I've only reached payout twice this far this year. I had two days when I made almost a quarter but the rest weren't much at all My goal will be to reach payout next month. I'd have to be around a lot more than I am currently to cash out more often.

@TheHorse if you only reach payout every few months then there's no way you can be making one hundred here which is what it sounds like you're saying at the end of your first paragraph. It's yours saying that the hundred you're making while playing is more than you make in several months or close to a year here then that makes more sense. It's not how I read what you said though.

I don't set goals to make an exact amount each month. If I make it I'm happy and if I have to wait until next time I'm happy. I actually made more than I thought I would though not enough to make payment, just a bit shy of that this month.

No, I don't have a special goal. I like to be surprised. Enjoy your rock tonight. It's my favorite kind of music.I heard one of your songs on utube but it wasn't rock. I believe it was country. I remember that I liked the song.

Most of what I post to Youtube is somewhere between folk and Country. There are couple of our rock songs out there, but they're kind of hard to find.

@RubyHawk Oh, that was Pancho and Lefty. That's the one that has the most "hits," but it's not my favorite. Should I see if I can find a "rock" one? We're not that great, but we're getting better and better.

@TheHorse I've forgotten what you call yourself on Utube. Seems like the one of you I heard on utube was a song that Willie Nelson sings.

I'm off to a slow start in October as well. Been busy with "real world" things. Have you herd my song about Mark Twain as viewed through his daughter's eyes? It's kind of an odd subject matter for a blues tune.

I don't set a goal for mylot. Last month I didn't make minimum, but this month I did. I think I'll just let it accumulate in the mylot bank for a few months then redeem it for christmas.

Sounds like a plan. But with interest rates rising, couldn't $10 be $10.15 by the end of the year?

@TheHorse I get paid in American dollars. $10 USD is about $12.50 CAD anyway. $20 USD is $25 CAD. I can live with that.

I do try to aim to reach payout if I can. It's not always easy, but sometimes I manage. If I don't, it's not the end of the world. So long as I have fun, that's the important thing.

That was my "original" goal, as payout used to occur only if you reached $10. Be prepared to leave lots of comments!
