“We keep this love in a photograph” that’s how I’d caption this photo.
I know this is the digital age and everything is kept on the cloud, Facebook and other social platforms, flash drives and desktop. But I still enjoy taking and keeping photos with my instax camera.
There is something special about printed photos. Do you still guys print photos? How do you store or keep pictures?

I haven't printed any photos is a long time. They are saved in my computer or the digital film.
Yesterday, I needed a picture of when I went apple picking years ago (the good old days) and I used my Ipad to take a picture of the picture that was in my photo album.

@flapiz That was my step-daughter and her mother, my now ex-wife, is taking the photo. I have one with the ex in the same apple orchard. That was many years ago!

I still have lots of printed photos, and I still print them every now and then. There are a handful of photo companies here that will send out coupons for free prints, and I'll usually take advantage of that to get some of my favorite ones printed out. About a month ago, I got a coupon code texted to me for 150 free prints, so I went through my phone and selected a bunch of photos to print.

@moffittjc I think that’s the way to go. Print it at home and choose good quality photo paper.

@flapiz It's very cheap to print photos here. And most people nowadays have such good printers at home with their computers that they can just buy photo paper and print their photos right at home on their printers.

Can't help but reminisce the good ol' days when one had to go to Kodak or Agfa and buy 24 shots film (or more depending on the budget). Every shot should be perfect and the camera should be angled well or risk having one blurry photo which was considered a waste. Do you know what I'm talking about? haha

@ilocosboy I used to do it when I was in high school. I print them wallet size and put frames on it. I’m sad I outgrew it. It’s nice to keep memories.

We have some photos hanging on our bedroom doors. My parents put up our graduation photos on the door as identification. The only photo album we got was 27 years old. I don’t see people buying albums these days.

I have this interest of printing the photos on my phone. I go to photo center and print them the small size, maybe 1 by 2 inches, so that even when the photos are erased or deleted in the phone or camera i still have the memory.

I do not have printed photos anymore. I just keep them in the computer. But I think, it is still better to have printed photos for easy access.

@flapiz I used to print pictures but I now find it more convenient to look at pictures via the computer. Makes picture larger and you can edit.

@pinoycity Oh yes the editing made easy! I for one need to adjust the saturation, clarity, and contrast. Makes the photo pop and look more professional.

A collage seems like a nice idea. I was planning to hang mine with those cute wooden pegs.

@flapiz ohhh.. we had a big frame.. but rectangular just enough to fit the gap between the door and ceiling. then we cut the pictures and put them there.
We have lost a lot of beautiful pictures when we were affected by typhoon Ondoy.

It’s fascinating to see printed photos these days. When I was cleaning our old house I saw lots of them. Some were my parents wedding photos. It makes me thankful they have them as digital photos weren’t a thing back in those days. It’s nice to see history in photos.

Your sons must’ve appreciated it so much. Specially if you had their baby photos. I can’t seem to find a lot of baby photos of mine. My parents were hard up when they first got married. I’m guessing they couldn’t afford a camera. Most of my childhood photos are from my grandma or other people. I had a hard time when it comes to school projects about photos.

That’s nice to hear. It would be such a shame if people stopped printing photos. I don’t print much too as it’s quite tedious to go to the photo shop. But I have an instax, it’s like a modern Polaroid and I get printed photos instantly. Down side is that film is expensive.

We made these memories for ourselves. Where our eyes are never closing. Hearts are never broken Yes, I still print some of my favorite photos. I keep them in a special box. Sometimes, I frame and hang them in my room.
