Here we live in a small town and never interacted with them
Do you know who the chief of police there?
Never met ours and not sure who he is.
How the police officer do you know them?
Not sure why they do not have some sort of a meeting.
Like meet your police chief and the others.
I supposed you can go down the station and meet them.
some do and some do not.As many people feel uncomfortable?
Photo is me and Anna Marie is the woman we stay.
Loved it there. But now no longer pay a visit due to my health issues.

You do it the right way, never like me, but was 10 years ago and all minor dumb stuff, but still it makes you not like them because 90 percent they were just power, we can do this.

@myklj999 That is a bit surprising. I had one pull me over because he thought did California rolling stop and to be fair did not charge me, but goes you tell them I am the DUI cop. I am like Jesus can these guys be any more aggressive. I mean dude big jerks in Marines and 1 out of a 100 like that.

@amadeo I love small towns, how about you?
Thanks! I missed you, too.
Mom is still in good mood. She says "I'm survivor" :-)
How are you doing?

Going to police station is not a very pleasant experience in our country. Police in our country have earned bad image due to some irresponsible corrupt officers. In fact people are scared of police as they are of criminals.
I only interacted them for my passport verification and once when I met a road accident.

Someone broke into our duplex apartment in Perth early in the morning and that was my second time interacting with the police. They asked us for our statements. It wasn’t so bad as we were glad they came.
First one was when I got mugged near the train station.

That looks like a nice picture of you and Anna Marie, I'm sure that she misses you too.
In the area that we lived most of our lives, we did know one Chief of Police.
We knew him socially, he lived down the road from us at the bay.
He recently passed away, and it was quite sad.
Our son dated a cop's daughter in high school, he and his wife came out and visited my husband and I once at the house. We knew of him, but never cared for him and we were glad when the teenagers ended their romance.

The police station in my little town closed last year. I've never been arrested but have interacted with them due to ex-Boyfriend shenanigans, neighbours and students at work.

I'm in a big city, although in the suburban area, and I have occasionally interacted with the police. I don't know who the chief of police is though.

I agree with you, People should visit police station. In my country No big reforms in police system happened post independence. In some part of the country police still carries the same colonial mindset. But it will change and things are changing here.

I have a secret, we met a station captain in a place where my bf used to stay, he owns a local liquor shop at the street... men go there to buy two or three shots of his liquor.

I don't know who the chief of police is here, and the only encounter I have with police is when they stop me, which they haven't done in a couple years now, or they come to my door, also haven't done that either for a few years now.

Anna Marie is your lovely friend:) Yes, I do know our Police Chief. He grew up with my two children, they went to school with Mark. They are extremely friendly in our community, Jay did the jail ministry at the Sheriff's Department(county jail) for over twenty years. They all know us.

The only interaction I have with the police is when I have them respond to one of my complaints.
