What's your comfort food?

Mine is mac n cheese. When I was little and had a bad day at school, my mom and I would always make a huge pot of mac n cheese and eat it together. Even now as an adult, any time I'm feeling really blue, eating mac n cheese and watching a movie always helps, and reminds me of those times in her little kitchen making food together. Anyone else have a go-to comfort food? What memories do you associate with your comfort food?

@isweartokira I always say a cookie helps with everything even if it's just for a few moments.

It depends on the time of the year. But I love a popular dish caller papas con mote, made with potatoes, a mixture of diced meatm onion and herbs and topped with cooked maize grain.

Hmmm... when I'm feeling blue I make some mashed potatoes. Nothing makes me feel better than eating a bowl of warm mashed potatoes!
Sometimes I make mashed potato sandwiches, too.

@isweartokira Hmmm... I never thought of trying garlic toast with my mashed potatoes, Bree... I think I'll give that a try next time I make a batch.
Thanks for the idea!

@kepweng I always drink water with everything I eat. What happens if I eat samyang without drinking water for an hour? Will I catch on fire or something?

spaghetti is mine. many years ago when i was a child, we would go on every Friday and eat dinner at an italian restaurant in our little town and my order was always spaghetti, and over the years it has made me comforted to have it. at home or where ever
