My CPU was having issues and one day it just stopped working. I had spent a good enough amount of money on my motorcycle repair. So, with great reluctance I took the CPU to the techie. He also works as contract house builder and painter. He took two days to open my machine. On the third day I went to his workshop. I was ready to give him money but he refused to take any money from me. He told me he had done little work and spent a few minutes on the CPU. He would not charge me any money.
There are honest, good and helpful people in the world of today, where dishonesty stares at us at every step. Meeting this techie made my day. Have you met such people in your walk of life?

Yeah there are, a couple of weeks ago, I had trouble with tires for my jeep. A friend took her afternoon to help me get a tire. Couldn't have done it without her.

Yes there are still few honest people out there. Your post reminds me of the computer technician in the school I worked at.His daughter was also my colleague. Whenever my desktop acts up I turn to his skillful hands. He usually charges cheaply and sometimes, he does not accept fee at all. What I do is, I give him food and insert the money on the box or paper bag.

Wow, I could not imagine that there are this kind of people who offer services for free. Kudos to the guy. I think I've met a few.
