Cookies, donuts, cakes? What's your morning coffee break indulgence?

Decided to have a little break from work with a coffee but, as the weather's a bit cool today, just needed a little extra boost so grabbed a Hobnob chocolate cream biscuit. It may sound weird dunking a cream filled biscuit into my coffee but don't knock it until you try it. It's less likely to drop into your coffee mid 'dunk' as it's got two layers of biscuit for the coffee to soak through.
Do you have a favourite 'dunker'. I think the weirdest thing to I know was dunked was a Mars bar. When I worked in an office my friend Janice dunked a Mars chocolate bar into her mid morning coffee every day. The sickening thing is that she remained as thin as a rake!!

@olliesmum I eat separately and then with each bite I have a sip of coffee.

Do you dunk them in the coffee or eat separately? I prefer to eat donuts separately but definitely dunk a biscuit.

Yep, if she hadn't been such a nice person I would have hated her. I have to try and restrict sweet things but it's so difficult. They just sit in a container and shout out 'eat me' every time I make a cup of coffee or tea!

@olliesmum My husband is Type 2 diabetic and luckily doesn't have a sweet tooth so mostly I simply don't buy sweet biscuits. And we're 7 kms from a shop so I can't just nick down the road for biscuits. But I do like them.

I have had hobdobs and they are pretty good!! Haven't had them in a while though... do miss having a Marks and Spencers near by!! We had them in Canada until sometime in the 80s and then the company pulled out. Now we have to wait until vacation time in England to stock up and it's been way too long!!

dunking cookies or donuts in my coffee is always good, but i'm more into dipping my fries or chicken tenders in my milkshake. something about that salty and sweet is too good to resist also tried a buttery croissant in hot chocolate, delicious!
wait, she stayed thin from eating THAT every morning? Lucky, I gain three pounds just by looking at a chocolate bar lol
