So as I work in a school I have to go on a First Aid course every three years....and it is time for my refresher course.
I am lucky in that my work pays for the course ….it is a two day course with an exam at the end.
Thinking about it though wouldn't it be a good idea if everyone did these courses....you would think that the more people who are able to give first aid the better it would be....
Maybe in secondary school it should start and then every few years in all work places...
What do you think ?

I am an advocate for First Aid to be taught from nursery age. Obviously in small, age-appropriate, steps. However, I haven't done a First Aid course in about ten years. I do know the current CPR rules though. Enjoy your days!

My workplace sent me to these too. Here, it is the law that companies must spend x% of their payroll on 'professional development'. I was sent to First Aid and a variety of computer courses which was great as far as I was concerned.
