I don’t know if most of us bother to keep those receipts after our purchase.
For me, I’ll keep it for a while before throwing them especially for purchases paid in installments.
Few days ago while rummaging old things; I saw some old receipts that haven’t thrown away. Most of them are not readable already because the receipts were made from thermal paper.

That is a wise decision. I will keep mine from now on.

I don't know if there's still a draw of receipt where one can win. I think there's a thing like that.

We throw away some that`s not needed but there are some with discounts so I keep it until we can use it when we buy something again at the same store

I never return most things I purchase so the receipts go into recycling after a month.

I usually toss them, unless I need them for something.

I keep them during that month....but then throw away. I used to keep them so I could take pictures for receipt apps that would pay you for your receipts. I always forget to do it these days though.

I save them for several months then toss when no longer pertinent.
