@dismalgrin Full hip replacement done in June. The original had worn away due to arthritis.

Do you just have a straight stud in there? Hoops or those curved studs (sorry can’t remember name) are better about staying in there. Also no messing with it. Which is the hard part. I used to have most things pierced in my face but laziness/apathy has caused most of them to grow in. lol. Enjoy! It’s cute.

It is straight but the spiral one fell faster. Also, it is so hard not to play with it, but I will try because I know you are right. Also, thank you!

@dismalgrin Oh really? Darn. Those twisted ones always worked better for me. I am a hypocrite as whenever I wear my lip ring it is almost a compulsion to play with it.argh!

I fail to see the reason for such preoccupations people have with putting holes, and then studs or pins or rings, into things that were, by design, intact...
One big sneeze, it's gone. Blow your nose hard, the stud shoots out and lands in the coffee mug of the person sitting at the next table...
Now: I can see the reason for putting a ring in a bull's nose, even though the practice is abhorrent.
No, I shall keep my body's appendages the way they are, thanks all the same
