Refused to hand over umbrella

Philippines
October 18, 2018 12:00am CST
After more than four days of Sunny weather, suddenly it rained hard. When I went outside and most people were stranded. While I was heading for the store, some guy grabbed my hand and asking to have him move to the other side. But it was raging flood and I just gave him the look. Moved on to the store and bought some groceries. I have mixed feelings whether I should have done it right or not. But a muscle guy like that shouldn't have any problem crossing the road. What do you think? Rain or shine they should always bring an umbrella. Which I forgot this afternoon

Well even muscle guy can be caught with colds and fever. But even so he don't have the right to command to bring to the other side of the road especially if he doesn't know you.

I'm not sure, you don't owe people help, or to go out of your way. Sometimes it's a nice thing to do though. But in this case it sounds like that man was plenty capable. I'm not sure

I hardly ever go out without my umbrella. Even when I bring the car, I would still have an umbrella with me. Weather's been highly erratic lately. I can't imagine how hot October's been. And then it rains after a long hot day. I find that odd but I know I'll have to live with it..
