Any news on Patsie?

During a morning of designing patterns for a Unicorn outfit I got to be thinking of one of the mylotters. I made an enquiry a few days ago about the very elderly yet energetic person who used to add a Kaleidoscope to all her posts. I have since discovered that Patsie, in June of this year, had a setback and then the news goes cold. She has been much on my mind lately and after reading all the messages of get well sent to her, I wonder how she is doing now.
Has anyone got any updated information on Patsie?
Have we all made the necessary plans, to enlighten our mylot family of our demises if they befall us?
It’s a good thing to care.

His son explained that his mother is still in the hospital where she was brought after she had fallen. She cannot have a computer or a personal phone there, she cannot even wear her own dresses, only the hospital uniform. She is very unhappy, but they have no money to move her in a better place. The nursery home where she was before, does not want to take her back because she needs help now. It is sad to reach such an old age and be treated like that.

hope she is alright - we recently lost Koelemos which was a huge blow to his friends on here - sometimes we may not know a friend has left us - just that they are not posting any more. Hopefully Patsie will return soon happy and well

Very sad for Patsie, aging in the US (maybe anywhere) can be a trial.

i think one should scout places before getting old and somewhere ask the children to make sure we get to that place for ageing care - well, providing money is no problem. Ageing in South Africa is a very expensive thing as we don't have government pensions for old age, only to those that are poor. So if you own a car or a house or any assets, you don't get this grant.

@JamesHxstatic unless you have saved all your life, getting old in SA can be a frightening thing

Just a few days ago we were told that Patsie was still in a place where she did not have access to internet.
