A Bit On The Depressed Side Today

Unfortunately, I am a bit on the depressed side this morning. Not because of the weather which is gorgeous by the way.
It is more because of health problems. I have another appointment with another specialist tomorrow afternoon. I am so sick and tired of going to medical appointments and blood tests and other tests.
I can't seem to be interested in anything lately. I hope that situation goes away SOON.
Do you feel that way too sometimes?

Oh Marlina, I DO know how you feel! About five years ago, I felt so rotten and just wanted to give up on life:( Then, my doctor's office closed, leaving me in limbo without any direction! God was faithful, he provided me with a new doctor, who actually cares about her patients. The issues I face became smaller by the week. Now, I'm so glad I didn't throw in the towel and quit God saw me through everything, right up until today! I will pray for you also, Marlina

@kobesbuddy , Thanks Kharla. I am not a practicing person, but if it works for you, good.
Glad that you feel so much better now.

I have days like that too but not usually health related. Hope your doctor appointments become few and you feel better soon

Having health issues are the worst! I had a few and it can really get depressing going through them. I like your cheery coffee cup
Time and health are two precious assets that we don't recognize and appreciate until they have been depleted.

Hoping you overcome your health problems and find yourself in better health soon

I think it's a common feeling. I'm glad you're having good weather. Any snow yet? I've been seeing white on the weather map for Canada. We had some here on Saturday.
I hope your tests come back good and give you hope. I know you like to listen to music, which would be a good idea to lift your mood. Music always does that for me.

I have plenty of days where I feel rather down and not in the mood for things, even things I know I have to do.

@marlina Me too... Maybe it's just one of those days... But there has to be more to it if it happens often.

Yes I do from time to time. Getting older is often a depressing experience when it comes to health. There ARE good days though Marlina and I do hope they give you some answers to your health problems and more importantly--- some solutions. Keep on smiling- something good will happen soon.

I have got that feeling so many times in last few months. I also have to make rounds of doctors office for my endometriosis and diabetes. Stay positive. I try yoga and meditation and that really helps.

@marlina Staying positive and having will power helps. I try to distract myself by staying busy with work and stuff.

I've been fortunate enough to not get depressed about physical illness because I've always been healthy and free of physical health issues.
I wish everyone else is as lucky as I've been health wise.

I feel the same sometimes. I am too lazy to go to the hospital for those tests, and doctor's appointments because of so much time spent there.

Hi my name is Nichole I'm 40 years old and I have a mild to moderate case of Cerebral Palsy. I can walk without assistance or devices, but I walk with a slight limp on my right side and turn my foot in slightly when I walk. My right leg is slightly shorter than the other leg so I limp when I walk. When I was younger in my early twenties my Cerebral Palsy never bothered me, but now that I'm 40 years old I have constant pain with arthritis. I was told last March that I need to get a hip replacement and hip replacements with Cerebral Palsy patients have big failure rates and the Orthopedic specialist at Hershey hospital said I will be most likely wheelchair bounded for the rest of my life once I get the hip replacement. I also have high blood pressure tachycardia and now the doctors think I may have type 2 Diabetes along with my Cerebral Palsy and my other health problems. I feel like all I do is go to doctor appointments now at forty years old. I also get sick a lot with colds and viruses. My 13 year old gets sad with all my health problems a lot and my boyfriend who I have been with for since 2011 is always worried about me now that I'm getting all these health problems, so yes I get depressed some days that I feel like I live at doctors offices because of my Cerebral Palsy. The doctors always used to tell me when I was younger that Cerebral Palsy doesn't get worse with age. I hate to say it but I think they lied to me because yes it does get worse with age. I have two daughters with my Cerebral Palsy a 3 year old and a 13 year old. Cerebral Palsy isn't genetic so none of my daughters have Cerebral Palsy. God and my daughters is what keeps me going through all these health problems.
