If It’s Not GOOD News, then It’s BAD News

We can’t win this year, even though we have had lots of good things happen to our family.
Our son and his bride are having a wonderful time in Belize. They hopped on a jet and took off for some scuba diving, snorkeling, and fun in the sun. We have What’s App, and he sent us videos which I just looked at and loved.
As soon as I finished, I received a text message from my brother. His beloved dachshund, Lulu, had to be put down this morning. She had been going downhill since the day our little Kuma left us forever. Lulu will be missed here and in Florida, where she enjoyed her winters.
I feel as if our family has been on a roller coaster ride since our return from Florida last April.

I do notice you are bogged down with bad news at a stretch. Hope this is the end.

That's very sad! Life is truly a mixed bag of good and bad, smiles and tears, and joy and pain.

@DianneN Is the picture a recent one or one from a while back as she looks young?

@1hopefulman This photo? It was recent. She has always looked young.

Thank you. My son has been beside himself over the loss of little Kuma. And so have we. And now we are so upset over my brother's poor dog. Doodles has been eating like a horse! We have to try to limit his eating. Not good for his heart.

Winning or Losing is not important.. Fighting and keeping hope is important..
